In April 2013 Anthony Haughey was commissioned to produce an exhibition for the Aftermath project. The commission involved extensive research exploring the tensions leading up to the beginning of the conflict in Northern Ireland in 1969 and the subsequent displacement of families who were forced out of their homes in Belfast and other areas across the border to escape the violence in the south. The commission also involved working with displaced people from other parts of the world who came to Ireland to escape from inequitable conditions in their home countries.
